Personal Financial Management is very crucial for the young generation because it will improve their financial wellbeing in the future. Personal financial management is related to financial and shopping behavior. Financial behavior means behavior in doing investment, borrowing, and money management. Meanwhile shopping behavior means behavior in doing shopping, particularly online shopping through cashless payment. Blockchain investment, financial market, and personality (psychology field) will be studied in this course. The outcome of this program is the participants are expected to develop their self-confidence and implement financial well-being throughout their life successfully
Short Description
This course explains how to achieve financial well-being through the implementation of financial and online shopping behavior for the young generation. Good financial means behavior in doing investment. Meanwhile shopping behavior means behavior in doing shopping, particularly online shopping. It will lead the young generation to improve their financial well-being. In this regard, the program also discusses personality which is a field of psychology that is related to behavior. Thus, this program provides students with understanding of financial management, marketing through online shopping, behavioral finance, blockchain, marketing science and personality.About The Program
This program will be conducted virtually for two weeks by inviting international lecturers from Indonesia, Malaysia, Qatar, Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Riyadh. The student participants come across from Indonesia, Malaysia, Karachi, Turkey, India, Qatar, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Japan,America, Australia, etc. This program is also promoting the culture, tourist attraction and cuisine of Indonesia. Additionally, this program is also making students could share their own culture through sharing sessions, games and group projects. The aim of it is to createand develop good relationships among the participants from Indonesia and overseas.
Program Features
During two weeks of study, the participant will attend several classes from one to three hours everyday. The schedule will be adjusted to the time which is able to be followed by all participants. The committee and students from the Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) will involved in all of program activities. The outcome of this program is the participants are expected to develop their self-confidence and implement financial well-being throughout their life.
